$101000 Goal Update – June 18th 2012

Hi,
It’s been a busy old week!

As usual, the ideas have been bouncing around my head, and the problem has been getting the time to do it all!

I finally managed to get my first book formatted and submitted to Kindle!
‘Transform Your Life in 21 Days!’ has been available on Clickbank since 2003, but I felt the sales had gone as far as they would there, and wondered if the option of putting it in Kindle was worth looking at.

Would the vastly cheaper price of a couple of dollars make a difference?
Well, I’ll find out, because it’s not via click bank now, and is sitting on the kindle store waiting to be bought!

If you fancy taking a peek, here’s the link:
‘Transform Your Life in 21 Days!’ on Kindle!

I haven’t had much time to work on my new novel, which I really want to press on with as it has an Olympic theme behind it!

My product about making $30 per blog post is also ready now, but the sales page etc needs to be done. That should be a priority but I seem to get overloaded with other stuff, part of which includes Dean Holland’s Quick Start Challenge!

After listening to week 2, were we asked to participate with each other by commenting on each other’s blogs.

I have done a good few, but it does take time! Great to see so many people taking action though!

The second week also featured traffic, and Dean praised forum posting – I know that works, used it loads many years ago, but then drifted away. I need to get back to that as I do indeed know it brings traffic!

We were also asked to do a video about the challenge.
I decided to keep mine simple – normally I am on camera in my videos, but I know this can be intimidating for newcomers, so I wanted to show what can be done with just audio and slides, put together with totally free products most computers have in built now.

I would normally put the video here in the post, but wanted to see what happens if I put a link to the video rather than the video itself, so please click the link to watch it on the you tube site:

Ok, busy busy busy, so I’ll keep it brief – do leave me your feedback!

‘Til Next Time,
Health & happiness,
Gordon

  • Hi Gordon,

Fellow QSC student here. I found you on the site’s blogroll. Wow, it sounds like you have a lot going on. I think it’s great that you have already created product. I’m sure one of Dean’s future challenges will probably involve this. I wanted to wish you best of luck going forward and press on!

    Rich

    • Hi Rich,
Thanks, I do have a few things going on, sometimes too many ideas!
Motivational book just up on kindle – new novel in the works – new training audio about how to monetise blogging, etc
That distraction of focus has been a problem fo rme, and one of the reasons I hooked up with the QSC. Hopefully we can all push forwards together!
      Cheers, Gordon

  • Another fellow QSC member here.
    Again, great job Gordon.

I have been following Dean and Alex Jefferys for a while now, and later on Dean will mention about creating your own product. I am planning on releasing fitness products and marketing products if I can make a success of myself.

    Keep up the good work.

    • Hi Paul,
Thanks for stopping by. Yes creating products is a good way to go. I have an ebook on motivation and life perspective, an audio on niche selection, just finishing an audio on a way to monetise blog posts, and ebooks on making money from sport and movies!
My problem has always been focus. Keep getting pulled in different directions, want to use the challenge to get back on track!

Good luck to us challengees! Cheers, Gordon

  • I like to learn something totally new and challenging on new websites I stumbleupon everyday. It’s always exciting to read your content and use the right mindset that I get from you as inspiration for my own work. Thanks!

That’s a weird looking shark by the way,!

    • Cheers!
ha, the shark was in a very dodgy entertainment act I used to do – it’s a hammer head…geddit?…
      thanks for your words,
      Gordon
