Launching The $101,000 Goal!

I had intended to launch this goal on Nov 4th 2011, but as is often the case, life happened (!) and the goal wasn’t launched then.

I was due to give a seminar presentation on goal achievement and success theories, and while preparing for this I decided it would be good to launch a new goal there.

That presentation didn’t happen in the end, and other things happened which ate into my time, meaning the 4th Nov timing came and went.

So, as I write this, it’s 26th Nov. That’s late, but as I’ve learnt over the years, timing with goal achievement can be flexible in many cases – missing a time deadline *can* be really bad for your goal, but not always, and this is one of those ‘not always’ cases!

So, here’s the goal –

***********To go to college and do an acting degree*********

As I write more posts as the goal progresses, and you hit me with questions and feedback (you will give me feedback, right?), you’ll get to know the what, why, when, where and how of the goal.

I called it the $101,000 goal, partly because it has a natty ring to it, and partly because that $101,000 is a genuine figure. That’s what it will cost to fund the goal over the 3 year duration of the degree course.

I intend to fund it by making money blogging.
If you want to find out more and follow along about the making money bit, you can do so at my make money blogging blog.

To follow along with the goal achievement side of things, you can either subscribe to the blog, via the box at the upper right of any page, or you can bookmark the blog and keep checking back. You’ll see the $101000 Goal link under the categories list.

You can also find me on facebook.

Ok, that’s it for now, I’ll sign off by wishing you health & happiness,
P.S. Don’t forget to get in touch, either leave comments, or email me, or facebook me!

P.P.S. Don’t forget my motivational book ‘Transform Your Life in 21 Days!’ Written in 2003 it contains the theories I will use for this goal, as I have for others for over 25 years. I was thrilled to have it described as ‘motivational magic’ and ‘a true gem in the field’. Grab your copy right now, just click the image below:

  • Hello! I realize this is kind of off-topic however I needed to ask. Does operating a well-established website like yours require a massive amount work? I am completely new to blogging but I do write in my diary every day. I’d like to start a blog so I will be able to share my experience and feelings online. Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for new aspiring blog owners. Appreciate it!

    • Hi,
No, it’s not off topic at all, since my goal will be funded by blogging! If you write a diary, then you are good to go for blogging. To be honest, that’s the best type of post, because it’s personal, and not too long. It engages readers quickly, and gets them to come back to keep checking up. Yes, you can throw in the odd longer article, but regular posting is the key! Cheers, Gordon

    • Thanks Paul! It’s certainly going to be an adventure, which will give me the kick I need! Currently waiting for personal reference to be done in the application process.
