I had some fun recently going on a hot air balloon trip. In this post I’ll put links to a couple of videos as well as some pictures.
One video was a FB live I did explaining about how it went, and why I did it in the first place.
The second is a time lapse video of the 51 minute flight in 51 seconds, give or take!
Here’s the first video about the trip:
1. Getting some hot air into the balloon to finish the inflation and get some lift.
2. A good way to get an idea of the massive size of the thing is to see the pilot inside doing safety checks
3. Just after lift off, around 6am, taken by the ground crew.
4. When you clear the trees, and see this view!
5. Mist on a Monday Morning!
6. Great shot taken by the go pro on the balloon!
7. Pilot dipped low so we could take some nifty silhouette shots – so I did!
8. Uh oh, incoming! Taken by the ground crew.

Safe to say, I’d recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it – it’s a great experience!
